car update
Well, I had to keep pushing the issue. I spoke with the mechanic and various people from my insurance company and they did not want to fix the oil leak on my car. But you know persistence pays off. I was was told NO! repeatedly but I didn't give up. I took my complaints as far as they could go. I had to voice my complaints with service to the director of my insurance company. He fortunately took up and made another investigation into the situation. Finally, yes they overturned the original decision not to repair the leaking seal on the timing chain. I am very much relieved. I hopefully will get my car back some time next week if all goes well. I will update with new photos at that time and begin posting regularly.

repair update
My car is still at the dealer repair shop. Now the mechanics tell me there are two oil leaks they found on my car. the best part of all of this is that they say it wasn't caused by the collision meaning those bastards don't want to pay for it. What the, well I called the insurance and there going to send someone down there to check on the situation. They said 8 days to fix my car well that's not going to happen.

new car info
Got a call from the dealer repair shop handling my car on Friday. The guy says my car has a mysterious oil leak and they need to do a special leak test to locate the origin. The best part of it all is that the insurance isn't responsible for paying for the fee. What ********! Hopefully, I will get an update today.

Honda Fit
This blog was set up to discuss issues regarding ownership of 2008 Honda Fit Sport and related issues. I use my vehicle as a daily driver. I commute approximately 104 miles a day to work. So far my average fuel economy has been between 28-30 miles per gallon. My car is siler metallic with gray interior. I have replaced the vehicle air filter with a aftermarket K/N air filter. The OEM tires have been replaced with KUMHO AST 185 60R15 tires. My current mileage is 67000 miles driven.
